Thanksgiving week is a perfect time for a launch!

So today is the overdue but official launch of the Keith Burtis Consulting website. I am really, really proud of the site. After having been blogging for years I thought it was time to create a business specific presence! So I am not going to bore you with all of the details and sell you on all of the really awesome services I provide because it is not my style. Instead I am going to share with you how grateful I am to have a chance to be here and some of the people that were instrumental in supporting me.

Family

My Wife – My wife is by far my strongest and most valuable friend. In a world of often uncertain times she has put up with my shenanigans for years and I love her for that!

My Mother and Father – For without them I would not be here. My parents always taught me values and to treat others as I would want to be treated. I carry that over into all of my personal and business relationships. Mom and Dad, I love you and you are a source of inspiration and motivation to be the best I can.

My Daughter – I was only 18 years old and in high school when Sara was blessed upon me. She has been the apple of my eye ever since and a massive source of inspiration.

My Family – Heck, what do you have without family? My brothers and sisters have always tried to keep me in check on some of my hair-brained ideas, and I love them for that Of course I rarely listened but we all work in our own way.

Business & Social Media

Mitch Cantor – Wow. What can I say about Mitch? He is a kick butt web developer who has literally reached down into the hole I was in and pulled me out! If you ever need a very reliable and professional contact Mitch!

Sue Murphy – Sue, you have been a beacon. We have shared information, tips and tears together. Sue is a partner at Jester Creative. Her team is one of the best on the web! I am very grateful to call Sue a close friend, mentor and colleague.

Ryan Knapp – Ryan has been an invaluable friend and colleague for the past few months. He has unselfishly offered to help in growing Keith Burtis Consulting and I am grateful for that! Ryan is now my General manager Feel free to contact him with any problems Hhaahhahahah Love ya buddy.

CC Chapman – CC has been a mentor of mine for years now and I could never thank him enough for helping me get the ball rolling and being a constant source of information and inspiration.

John Meadows John Piercy and Steve Saylor – Just flat out three of the best friends a guy could have!

Chris Brogan – I met Chris a few years back and he too has inspired and supported me any time I needed help! His blog, newsletter and friendship have educated me through the years.

Lynn + Jill at Blumenfeld + Fleming – These great gals have been a pain in my backside and a huge blessing all at the same time. They know I say that lovingly. Lynn loves to correct my grammar and it has only made me better. Thank you both for all you have done. Lynn and Jill have a great little boutique agency in Montauk NY. I can’t wait to visit and take a walk on the pristine beaches there.

Olivier Blanchard – This guy has done more for my brain expansion than any other person. Olivier is the consummate professional and friend. We are both busy and don’t get to talk enough but we plan to fight it out for the crown in the very near future. :) Go fry your brain at Olivier’s blog.

My trusted network – I find myself getting very emotional as I write this post! It would be nearly impossible to thank everyone and share with you all of the people I am grateful for. If you are reading this I have no doubt that you deserve to be on the list. You know who you are and as I glance at my twitter stream I see many of you right there in front of me. Thank you for making me a better person and more valuable professional.

What are you most grateful for? Please share in the comments! If you are here because you are a colleague or friend then welcome. If you are here for more information about what we do at Keith Burtis Consulting please feel free to email or call!

Congratulations on your launch, Keith. Guess we were in the ‘beta’ zone because you’re already hired! . We are also grateful to your parents, because you’re right, they did teach you to treat people beautifully. They say leadership is humility with resolve or focus – and you’ve got it! Happy Thanksgiving, Keith – both Jill and I are grateful to you!

Olivier, Jill and Lynn, it takes great people to keep the word spinning on the correct axis. You all keep it true and on course.

Oh great, make me weep in the middle of my class! It’s okay my students are used to seeing me cry – LOL.

Keith, you’ve been an inspiration to me over the past year or so that I’ve known you. You are one of the few people who are out there actually DOING social media (instead of just talking about it), and you are excelling at helping others to be successful.

I wish you only the best as you take on the world, my friend. I’m honoured to know you.

    Hugs!
    Suze
